Tenku no Niwa Museum and Sekiraku-ten video is broadcasted on Multi Vision 8 at Kyoto Station overpass (May 1st ~ May31st)

Rose Festival 2023.05.02

During the Sekiraku-ten in May, we will hold an annual Rose Festival.
Please enjoy varieties of roses alongside the art of Masatoshi Izumi in this new green season.

May 13th (Saturday) 11:00-16:00
The Museum shop will have Sekirakut-en merchandise, and bread and sweets with roses!

May 14th (Sunday) 10:30-16:00
The Organic Marche will include fresh vegetables produced in pesticide and additive free farming, Tenku no Niwa Muesum merchandise, pop and stylish goods, food stalls with curry, seasoned rice, and grilled vegetables!

Handpan player “BABOW” will be performing in the garden!
This popular instrument uses fingers to produce varieties of sound from harp-like tones to drum-like sounds.
It is a great pleasure to witness his performance!
Please enjoy the performance surrounded by the stone art!
Times: 10:30 / 11:30 / 13:30 / 14:30 / 15:30  
※In case of rain: Each performance will be postponed for 30min
(Running time will vary. For the 15:30 performance, it will be performed in Area E)

Entertainment Handpan Artist
As a spatial performer, BABOW immerses the audience into his creative sounds.
Collaborations of his sound with tea ceremony and live events elevate the space as a piece of art.
He also works as a BGM producer in galleries and live performer in varieties of events.
